Commissioned line engravings
Your finest possession, engraved.
Send us a photograph of your car, yacht, aircraft or building. We engrave it in the manner of a bank note, print it on cotton rag, and frame it in hardwood with a brass plaque bearing its name and number.
Commission
A few choices, then we take it from there.
The work
Drawn line by line, the way bank notes are.
Every tone is built from fine parallel lines that swell and thin with the light, the same technique engravers have used on currency and share certificates for two centuries. It flatters paint, chrome, glass and hull lines.

Questions
Will it match my exact car or boat?
Yes. We work from your photograph and check the proof detail by detail. If something is off, tell us and we redraw it.
Can I order it as a gift for a client?
Yes. Many orders come from dealers and brokers at closing. Put the client's name on the plaque, enter their address at checkout, and we include no pricing in the box.
What if I don't have a good photo?
Send what you have. A listing photo, a dealer photo, or a phone picture taken from the side all work.
How long does it take?
Proof in 48 hours. After you approve, about two weeks to your door in the US.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes, at cost. We quote it before you pay.
